Thailand Office and Shipment Update

Thailand Office in Interchange 21 and the Temporary Office

Due to the impressive growth MonaVie has already experienced in Thailand, they have expanded the amount of space leased in the Interchange 21 building. Some additional design and layout work will be completed this week.

The renovation and build out will commence next week. The additional work will take approximately 75-90 days to complete.  MonaVie will then announce and celebrate an official grand opening for the office.

In the mean time MonaVie continue to provide a temporary office for Distributors on ground floor and level 1A of the Trendy Building located Soi 13 of Sukhumvit Road.

Upcoming Sequence of Events

MonaVie is looking to sequence future events as follows:

• Final FDA approval for Essential
• Launch public relations and brand building coverage in the press.
• MonaVie Roadshow to at least 3 major provincial centers outside of Bangkok
• Grand Opening of the Interchange 21 Building office
• Soft launch of MonaVie Thailand
• Asia Pacific Convention for all Asian and Oceania markets in the first quarter of 2012—expected attendance approaching 10,000 people
• Grand Opening of MonaVie Thailand

NFR Shipping from offshore

Since the FDA approval is still pending, MonaVie is not able to ship containers of Essential into Thailand to stock the warehouse.  Instead deliveries are being made to individual distributors at their designated addresses via postal service / courier from offshore.

MonaVie have confirmed that the last of the May 28th orders were re-shipped last week.  Some of these deliveries have already been made.  All orders entered after June 25th via the virtual office should be up to date and on the way this week.

It appears that SOME orders are being assessed for import duty or taxes.  The amounts assessed vary widely with some orders not accruing duty while others are.  MonaVie have announced that they will reimburse any distributor who has to pay duty upon presentation of the official tax receipt.  PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS.

I did say I expected every sort of challenge possible as MonaVie launched in Thailand.  I have been very pleased with MonaVie’s response in reimbursing duties and covering the additional charges resulting in shipment from overseas.  Look for your product to arrive soon.

FDA approval and the election

The legal and consulting team working on FDA approval had expected final approval for MonaVie essential last week.

The transition to a caretaker administration following the July 3rd national election has NOT been kind to MonaVie or ANY other company waiting for FDA product approvals. There are simply no FDA product approvals being granted until the new government is formally seated.

In the interim MonaVie will continue with NFR shipping from offshore for the month of August with full on the ground operations expected to begin early September.

MonaVie have requested that all distributors stay completely away from the FDA. There should be no contact with the FDA for any reason. This would only run the risk of seriously damaging what will in fact already be a successful result for MonaVie. ALL companies seeking approvals are in the same boat.

การส่งสินค้าจากต่างประเทศ NFR Shipping from offshore

เนื่องจากการอนุมัติจาก อย ล่าช้า ทำให้ โมนาวี ยังคงไม่สามารถนำส่งสินค้าเข้ามาไว้ในโกดังกลาง ของ โมนาวี ได้ การนำเข้าจึงจำเป็นต้องส่งไปให้โดยตรงถึงตัวแทนแต่ละท่าน จากต่างประเทศ โดยส่งไปตามปลายทางที่ทุกท่านระบุเวลาสั่งสินค้า

ทาง โมนาวี ได้รับการยืนยัน แล้วว่า สินค้า ที่มีการสั่งภายในงาน วันที่ 28 พฤษภาคม ได้ถูกส่งออกไปอีกครั้ง (หลังโดนตีกลับครั้งแรก) และบางส่วนได้ไปถึงมือผุ้รับแล้ว สำหรับสินค้าที่สั่งหลังวันที่ 25 มิถุนายน ผ่านระบบ โมนาวี น่าจะอยู่ในขั้นตอน ระหว่างส่ง และ น่าจะถึงที่หมายภายในอาทิตย์นี้

และจะมี สินค้า บางส่วน ที่จะถูกสุ่มกักไว้เพื่อที่จะเสีย ภาษีนำเข้า จำนวนราคาค่าปรับอาจจะไม่ตรงกัน เกิดจากจำนวนการสั่งสินค้าที่ต่างกัน ทางโมนาวีได้ประกาศออกมาแล้ว ว่าจะชดเชยค่าปรับเหล่านั้นให้กับตัวแทนทุกท่าน สำหรับตัวแทนที่ต้องเสียค่าปรับจากภาษีนำเข้า กรุณาเก็บใบเสร็จไว้ เพื่อเป็นหลักฐานในการที่ โมนาวี จะคืนเงินให้กับทุกท่าน

อย่างที่ผมได้กล่าวไว้ก่อนแล้วว่า เราจะต้องพบกับ เรื่องท้าท้ายหลายรูปแบบในขั้นตอนเริ่มต้นทำธุรกิจในประเทศไทย ทางผมรู้สึกทราบซึ้งที่ทาง โมนาวี ตอบสนอง โดยการครอบคลุมค่าใช้จ่ายพิเศษอื่นๆที่เกิดขึ้นในการส่งสินค้าจากต่างประเทศ และผมเห็นว่าสินค้าทั้งหมดจะเข้ามาถึงเร็วๆนี้

การ อนุมัติ จาก อย. และการเลือกตั้งFDA approval and the election

ทีมงานฝ่ายกฏหมาย และ ทีมงานฝ่ายที่ปรึกษาของ โมนาวี ได้ทำงานกันอย่างหนักและคาดหวังว่าจะได้รับการอนุมัติขั้นตอนสุดท้ายจากทาง อย. สำหรับ น้ำโมนาวี ฝาม่วง เมื่อสัปดาห์ก่อน

เจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายขั้นตอนธุรการของทาง อย. ไม่ได้ ดำเนินเรื่องอนุมัติให้กับ ทาง โมนาวี หรือ ผ่าน อย. ให้กับสินค้าตัวใดตัวหนึ่งเลย นับตั้งแต่ วันเลือกตั้ง 3 กรกฏาคม ที่ผ่านมา โดยแจ้งว่าจะไม่มีการ อนุมัติ อย. ใดๆ จนกว่าจะจัดตั้งรัฐบาลใหม่ เรียบร้อยเสียก่อน

ในขณะเดียวกันทาง โมนาวี จึงจำเป็นต้องทำการส่งสินค้าผ่านจากต่างประเทศเท่านั้น สำหรับเดือน สิงหาคม และ จะสามารถ สต๊อกสินค้า และส่งจากในประเทศไดภายในต้นเดือน กันยายน

ทาง โมนาวี ต้องร้องขอให้ตัวแทนทุกท่าน ให้หยุดการติดต่อเกี่ยวข้องกับหน่วยงาน อย. ทั้งหมด ตัวแทนทุกท่านไม่ควรติดต่อกับหน่วยงานใดๆใน อย. ไม่ว่าจะด้วยเหตุผลใดๆ เพราะจะเป็นการเพิ่มความเสี่ยงและเกิดความเสียหายให้กับบริษัทที่ตอนนี้ อยู่ในขั้นตอนที่กำลังได้รับอนุญาติจาก อย. แล้วเท่านั้น ไม่มีบริษัทไหนได้รับการยกเว้นเป็นกรณีพิเศษ ตอนนี้ ทุกบริษัทที่กำลังรอขั้นตอนการอนุมัติจาก อย. ก็ได้แต่รอเท่านั้น
